Philosophy of the School

Forming learners through Catholic, Franciscan, and life-enhancing education.

Philosophy of Stella Maris College

Catholic and Franciscan Education

Stella Maris College adheres to the Church's philosophy of education as expressed in the Declaration on Christian Education of the Second Vatican Council.

Guided by the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, the school believes that education is more than academic excellence. It is a lifelong process of forming individuals who are Christ-centered, socially responsible, compassionate, and committed to serving others.

"Paghubog na may pagkiling sa mahirap at pag-alaga sa kalikasan."

Stella Maris College encourages every learner to become compassionate toward the poor while being responsible stewards of God's creation.
